*NOTE: Before starting this process, make sure you contact Kevin Wright (Explorer Post 1 Post Advisor) to discuss becoming a Volunteer.

If you haven't, send an email stating your interest and your phone number to explorerpost1team@gmail.com.

Adult Volunteer Registration Process

1. Set up My.Scouting Account

This is where you access Training and key information.

2. Complete YPT (Youth Protection Training)

1. Go to the link above and complete Youth Protection Training.

2. Email the YPT certificate to explorerpost1team@gmail.com.

3. Submit Adult Leader Registration

1. After you have sent your completed YPT Certificate (in the previous step), the Post Advisor will generate a profile for you in the Registration system. The system will send you a link to the Registration form.

2. Download the form to your device.

3. Fill it out.

4. Email Registration to explorerpost1team@gmail.com.

5. Once the Post Advisor will provide you the information for submitting your payment. Submit your payment.

4. Complete Explorer Training

1. Select the appropriate training for your role and

complete it (ask the Post Advisor if you don't know which training applies to you).

5. Send Registration Payment

1. The Post Advisor will provide information for submitting your payment.
